So, with the Java Joint closed, I needed another spot to create and socialize. At the suggestion of Barbara Dela Cuesta I checked out a restaurant three blocks away called Shut Up and Eat. Most of the rest of the Java Joint Book was done there, except for a few pages done at the Manchester library, where I also drew much of the animation for LIFE"S ALRIGHT.
